Tuesday morning in Accra felt fresh and new. The heavy rainstorm from the night before had washed the city clean, leaving behind a cool breeze and the scent of wet earth. As I laced up my sneakers and stepped outside, I could still see small puddles reflecting the bright morning sun. It was the perfect time for a jog.

With each step, I felt lighter. The air was crisp, the streets were quieter than usual, and the city seemed to breathe with me. Running past vendors setting up their stalls, I could hear the sound of life waking up—clanking pots, laughter, and the distant rhythm of highlife music from a nearby shop. This wasn’t just exercise; it was therapy.

That morning jog reminded me how important movement is. Our bodies were made to move, not to sit still all day. Whether it’s a run, a dance session, a quick stretch, or even walking while taking a call, movement keeps the blood flowing and the mind sharp.
